SP1 voor GroupWise Mobile Server 2 nu beschikbaar |

In april 2007 kondigde Novell aan dat Service Pack 1 (SP1) voor GroupWise Mobile Server 2 (Powered by Intellisync) beschikbaar is voor download. Deze versie biedt met name voor Nederland een aantal belangrijke updates, ondermeer door een uitgebreidere ondersteuning van bepaalde Nederlandstalige PDA's en ook ondersteuning voor Windows Mobile 6. Novell en Intellisync verwachten in juli 2007 SP2 voor GMS2 beschikbaar te hebben en in de zomer van 2007 kunnen we verder ook een beta-versie van GMS op Linux verwachten. |  |
Tip: Ten tijde van de aanmaak van deze pagina was de readme voor GMS2-SP1 nog niet online beschikbaar, op de Novell website was alleen de readme voor GMS2 zonder SP te vinden. De readme voor SP1 zit echter wel in het GMS2-SP1 download bestand.
GroupWise Mobile Server 2, Powered by Intellisync - Support Pack 1
Download and Installation
Downloading the groupwise mobile server software:
On the GroupWise® 7 Downloads page, click the Download
button next to the gms201.exe file. 
Follow the on-screen prompts to download the file to a
directory on your machine.
Installing Groupwise Mobile Server
- Change to the directory where you downloaded the client, then double-click
gms201.exe to uncompress the files.
- Browse to the location where you uncompressed the files, then double-click
the setup.exe file to begin the installation.
- Follow the on-screen instructions until GroupWise Mobile Server has finished
installing.
When installing GroupWise Mobile Server, you need a license
key. You will get access to a license key which unlocks GroupWise Mobile Server for 90 days after
installation for evaluation purposes after logging in to the Novell website. This is free, you only need to have or create a free Novell account.
