GroupWise Mobile Server 2 is beschikbaar voor download |

Novell kondigde op 7 maart 2007 aan dat GroupWise Mobile Server 2 powered by Intellisync beschikbaar is voor download. De eerste versie van GMS kwam beschikbaar in de zomer van 2006 en in deze nieuwe versie zitten tal van grote en kleine wijzigingen, zoals ondermeer ondersteuning voor de nieuwste modellen van Nokia. GMS2 draait op een embedded webserver en is daarmee niet meer afhankelijk van Microsoft IIS.
Novell en Intellisync verwachten in de zomer van 2007 een versie van GMS op Linux beschikbaar te kunnen stellen. |  |
Product Description
Novell GroupWise® Mobile Server 2 enables customers to synchronize
e-mail, appointments, tasks, contacts and notes between GroupWise and
hundreds of mobile devices. This capability is the result of a
partnership between Novell and Nokia* Corporation to integrate
Intellisync's wireless "push" e-mail and Personal Information
Management (PIM) synchronization technology with GroupWise.
